We ask you to kindly bear in mind the following
Partly the “Stone Age Trail” (Steinzeitpfad), the “Mining Trail“ (Bergbaupfad) and the “Archaeology Trail” (Archäologiepfad) are only narrow paths and, therefore, they are not suitable for prams and wheelchairs. These walks demand solid shoes. Stay always on the trails since, on the mining path in the wood, more exactly speaking near the mining shafts, there are cavities that can collapse when entering.
Monumental protection
The Stone Age cave “Teufelsküche“, the ring wall being situated on top of the Ölberg, the mining area “Lingelelöcher“ in the Ehrenstetter Grund, the fortification situated on the Kegelriß and the tombs of the Alemanni are listed as historical monuments, thus, they are under monumental protection in Baden-Wurttemberg.
Nature conservation
The “Stone Age path“ leads you through the nature conservation area “Ölberg Ehrenstetten“ and through the flora and fauna habitat of Schönberg with slopes of the Black Forest.
To retain the existence of rare plants and animals, please consider the following points when walking on our trails:
Stay on the marked path
leave no trace of your stay and take all rubbish away with you
do not pick plants and flowers
do not camp or light fires
leave the flora and fauna intact and do not disturb wildlife
Thank you!
